#5 - "Hound" - Tiffany Dillard
My most prominent line name is Hound #5. I earned that name because our big sisters said I will sniff out any information I need. My African name given by Gloria is Temba which means loyal. It is fitting because I say I am loyal to a fault.
What's your favorite memory online?
One of my favorite memories was of us thinking we could outsmart our big sisters. They told us to prepare a meal. We pulled grass to represent lettuce and created a hot mess. I can't even remember all the things we did to that meal. They turned it around to say the meal was for us.
Here's where you BRAG about yourself.
My biggest accomplishment is navigating Man-Child through high school graduation and adjusting to college. I have successfully transitioned from corporate America to the classroom. I love being able to reach my students and I know I am making a difference. I have became debt free twice and working on it for the third time (dayum student loans for this last degree). Now, I am enjoying life day by day.
Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your 1995 self?
Enjoy the moment. Tomorrow will always take care of itself.
What's the one thing every woman should have ...and what's the one thing every Delta Woman should have?
Every woman should have a kind word and a complete cute outfit. Every Delta woman should have servant's heart.
Ziplining and going to Vegas
What line sister(s) do you wish you would have gotten to know better during our process?
Anybody from the backpack! Being in the front limited my bonding with my line sisters in the back.
Now you know I like to change things. So I am adding this question. Who have I gotten to know better after the process.
That is an easy answer. I became close to Darcova during our 15th anniversary weekend. Since that time I have really gotten to now Darcova, the woman, mother, wife, sister, daughter, artist, and the doer!
Does your line name still fit? If not, what name would you give yourself today?
My line names still fit. I am still getting whatever information I need and people come to me seeking information.
