I have a confession to make. Prior to last year’s centennial celebration, the only sorority shirt in my wardrobe was the sweatshirt we wore online –which, through some magical hocus-pocus of our big sisters became a DST sweatshirt the night we crossed. And, although I made the sweatshirt trendy -it is now a sexy “Flash Dance” crop top, thank you very much- it was still the only wearable paraphernalia (gifted jacket aside) I owned. But, my true confession is that my sparse collection is by design and not by happenstance.

Wearable paraphernalia just didn’t do it for me. Even though vintage style DST sweaters have me salivating and I swoon for a DST jacket that Monique owns; in my mind, I am a Delta, because I AM A DELTA and not cause a t-shirt says so. Instead of building a t-shirt collection, I found myself adding a “Pop of Red” to an outfit or being “Red All Over” and letting my “Strut” speak for who I am.
When I stumbled across the below red vintage leather tunic, on Etsy.com my creative juices stated to flow and I put several looks together. Mind you, a long red wool/poly blend tunic is a resident in my closet already, but this leather tunic WANTS ME. (Whether it will have me, is another story.)
